Dummy Award

The PhotoBookMuseum hosted the renowned Dummy Award of the Fotobook Festival Kassel for the first time this year and will continue it in the future.

The 2023 shortlist will now be shown during Photoszene Festival. From the 382 entries from over 45 countries, the jury has selected 50 favorites, which will be made publicly accessible in a 'Reading Room' at Atelier Colonia. Visitors can expect an exciting look at unpublished photo books - fresh and unfiltered! Voting is also encouraged, as a public vote will determine the winning book, which will then be printed.

In parallel the four prize winners and special mentions from 2022 will be presented a few doors down of Atelier Colonia in the k18 Gallery.
